Poem: A Gentle Whisper

A quiet murmur

A gentle word

An inkling

A slow satisfied sigh

A hankering for something dreamed of but not yet realised

Imaginings

Images

Impressions

Feelings

Inspire thoughts

Whirling, swirling, gathering speed

A crescendo

Then the quiet certainty

That love is real

Embrace it with a full, whole, open heart

The quiet whisper, gentle kindness of the creators feelings brush my soul

And I, overwhelmed, am enveloped in the awe and goodness of it all.

Poem For Friends

Written December 2018

I have friends who are passionate for God, for Love & Truth
They stand up tall and beautiful
God is their guide, True North

They love God and know God’s Truth
The secrets of the Universe
They love, they feel, and create
They share, explore and care beyond the worlds common state

There is evil in the world that tries to pull them down
It weaves it’s way around their legs and desires them to fall

But my friends they know the secret
The superpower of the universe
They know The Way they tread it true
They are brave, they are courageous
They never give up on what is right
They are humble in their dealings, with you and me and with themselves

They are kind and gentle people
They are true friends to all they meet
Including those who oppose and choose to remain as foes
They live by what they teach
An example to the world

And their passion is contagious
Inspiration
liquid nectar to a thirsty soul
Their teachings true and beautiful
They gift the opportunity for change
Each and every person who applies The Truth
Will be forever changed

Each of us, like my friends, can become a passionate ambassador for God
For Love, for Truth, for change, for all things right and good

If you don’t believe me go and try it for yourself
And once you have done so sincerely
Tell the world what you have learnt
And how it changed your heart

For my friends Jesus & Mary, with love

Partner Relationships: Reflections on Divorce & Relationships, Part 1

Reflections on relationships

Relationships can be the source of great joy, happiness, connection, learning & discovery. Relationships (between adults*) can also expose pain, heartache, anxiety, addictions etc. Pain in relationships occurs when love and truth come secondary to the desire for facade, addictions, codependency, barter. When the pain is exposed and there are unresolved issues in the mix it is tempting to blame the other party rather than look in the mirror at ourselves and what we contributed to the relationship dynamic.

Parent Reflections: Sex & Relationship Education

This post was written 30 May 2018 but didn’t get published till now (December 2020).

Curiosity is a quality that leads to the discovery of new things. And personal experience is a most memorable teacher. Depending on personal choice (and often external influences) curiosity can either lead to positive growth towards love or can take us in the opposite direction – away from love. As a parent there are many opportunities to be a positive influence in a child’s/children’s life and simultaneously learn about love or our lack of it, as children ask questions and seek answers.

In our family, when the children’s curiosity naturally brought them to ask about sex I saw an opportunity and the potential for a truthful discussion about loving relationships and a variety of other topics, including: love, soulmates, soulmate romantic relationships, morality, sexuality, emotional connection, love and respecting their bodies and the nuts and bolts of the sex act itself (taking into account the children’s desire to know and my understanding of those subjects at the time).

There is SO much I don’t Know…

This post was written on 14 September, 2014.

Note: For some reason I never published this post. I found it in my drafts, and as I am listening to the most recent Assistance Group material from 2019, I thought I would post it with links to all the Assistance Groups. Thank you to Jesus and Mary for the Assistance Group material, when sincerely applied it is life changing! (November 2020)

Scientific Research: Compelling Evidence in Support of Plant-Based Diet

Company Members's avatarGod's Way

A scientific journal article published in 2018 contained compelling scientific evidence that eating a plant-based diet, which excludes meat and animal products, is better for the environment.

The study, Reducing food’s environmental impacts through producers and consumers, conducted by Joesph Poore & Thomas Nemecek, gathered data on the environmental impacts of food produced on farms (primary producers of meat, fish, grains, fruit & vegetables), processors (food manufacturers and processing plants), food packaging plants and retailers.

Research Article Abstract

“Food’s environmental impacts are created by millions of diverse producers. To identify solutions that are effective under this heterogeneity, we consolidated data covering five environmental indicators; 38,700 farms; and 1600 processors, packaging types, and retailers. Impact can vary 50-fold among producers of the same product, creating substantial mitigation opportunities. However, mitigation is complicated by trade-offs, multiple ways for producers to achieve low impacts, and interactions throughout the supply chain. Producers have…
