Visitors

A friendly visitor who was in the garden this morning.

Above is a deer we photographed out the kids window a couple of mornings ago. We thought he could be a potential lawn mower – though we feel he is rather un-discerning between grass and garden at the moment, especially newly planted watermelons, smile.

Over the Winter this year the deer and the kangaroos have been coming in closer and over this time have been causing a lot of destruction. Often emotionally we are still allowing of and open to attack and the creatures are demonstrating this to us through the Law of Attraction.

Below are some images of some of the damage done by the deer and kangaroos to various plants and three year old trees near our homes.

Pete recently had a ‘chat’ to Mr Roo in the orchard and the damage seems to have slowed down somewhat. Pete asked Mr Roo why he needed to destroy all these beautiful plants when there was so much lovely grass for him to eat around. Mr Roo and the Deer seem to be often wilfully destroying plants without need, they are not eating them, it is just destruction.

We know we are open emotionally to attack and at a soul level accepting of attack. Due to having this opening we are also open to spirit influence and attack. The spirits influence the animals to destroy things we have created and love as a form of blackmail and attack upon us.

This is a perfect Law of Attraction for us to heal the opening we have in our souls to attack and blackmail. It is also showing us that we are now in a place where our environment is reflecting our collective soul condition rather than ‘seemingly’ being ‘better’, due to having a whole heap of spirits ‘help’ us out. Now we are not doing what the spirits want us to do, they are getting grumpy and blackmailing us in an attempt to get us to go back to our ‘old ways’ so they can control us again. So though it seems (and often feels horrible to us), it is a good reflection of where we are truly at, at a soul level, and that what is happening on the property is attracted due to our own soul condition and not from the influence of others.

In our experience we are finding that it is actually best to feel how we feel when all these wonderful projects are attacked, feel how angry, hurt, disappointed we are, how unfair it feels, how we feel we are trying to help the earth and then it just get’s destroyed, and how so very, very sad we feel that someone or something wants to destroy what we desire to create. There are a whole heap of emotions that come up within us each time and when we are humble to these and allow our feelings to be expressed the actions in our environment, the law of attraction changes. When we don’t grieve and feel what ever it is we feel, then it all ramps up and gets heaps worse. The little ripple turns into a tsunami. It is not just one plant but ALL of them. Not just one branch but a whole tree that is gone in seconds.

Our surroundings are highlighting the injuries within us that we need to look at and heal within out souls. We can take huge measure of effort and guard everything up try and keep the animals out, we have in the past gone as far as killing them to stop them from destroying things. BUT we are finding that all these things are merely managing and trying to dictate to our surroundings in an attempt to avoid the Law of Attraction and the gifts God is trying to help us heal with.

This also relates to our every day life. How often do we have what we deem ‘small accidents’ or ‘nothings’, example cutting your finger while cooking, a cut while shaving. Jamming your finger somehow or burning yourself. Ant’s in you kitchen, mice in the walls, (they may just be hungry or need a home*).

Everything that happens to us is created by our own soul and is an attraction to highlight errors, beliefs, emotions within us that are out of harmony with Love and need to heal in order for us grow.

The next time a bird’s attacking your window or pooping on your windscreen you have an opportunity to go ‘hmmm this is a law of attraction event’ and feel how you feel about it then and there in the moment. That is an act of self Love.

* All creatures need the basics – food, water, shelter, oxygen, so you could feed the ants near where they enter your home instead of killing them, make living systems out in the garden so the creatures don’t need to live in and eat your house. We have taken so much away and leave the land so stark that many animals have nowhere to go, nothing to eat and no habitat. Take the time to give to God’s creations and without effort abundance will occur.

These are from the ‘impracticallyPRETTY collection’ that I have been working on over the last two months. Finished 20130805

I really love* making footwear, shoes, boots, spats and other foot and leg wear. A friend of mine in the spirit world – Michael** – helps me out. We have a lot of fun exchanging ideas (he usually extends mine and gives me images of things I didn’t even think possible). At the moment it is an experimentation of different ways of doing things and investigating what I like doing. I like that I can make shoes and boots for myself and others and I love trying out all my ideas. Many of my personal projects do not work out the first time but I learn so much in just engaging the process. It seems every pair of shoes or boots so far has something for me to learn within the process.

My dream of making comfy, beautiful, interesting footwear is in the infant stages***. I am looking forward to doing some more experimenting over the next couple of years with various different materials and making techniques. I want to explore fibres grown on the land and harvested and made here also.

At this time the shoes and spats I make are made from all sorts of materials (I am experimenting). They are mostly Vegan and often second hand/recycled/gifted fabrics that I am presently using up. I would like to get to a stage where the shoes I make do not have any toxicity in them at all and are made from totally natural, vegan, recycled, (mostly) plant based sources. (I still love wool, so maybe wool too for a while yet). I love experimenting with fabrics, colours and designs and trying stuff out.

At present the glue I use is toxic and some of the fabric made from petro-chemicals, so the product is not eco-friendly, brings up emotions and poses questions for me about how I can do things differently.

I feel this is a journey, an adventure of discovery and exploration and that I will work out many things as I go along. At the moment I am slowly practicing skills, researching and trialling to see what I like and what wears/works well.

We’ll see what comes of it. I have many ideas and have not made much time to create them into realities yet.

I also love sharing ‘how to’. So if you are interested in learning how to making footwear feel free to contact me (eloisa@kyabra.com) and we will see if we can arrange a short basic course. (Usually these are 3 days or so. I have also done a regular class one evening for people interested in coming along to create and will start this up again in a few months for those who would like to come along who live in the local area.

I have been asked recently by a few people if I make shoes for purchase. If you are genuinely interested please contact me at eloisa@kyabra.com and we can discuss it further.

Below are some images of spats and shoes – more will be added to the footwear gallery page as I complete them. You can find more images in the footwear gallery by pressing on the above link, or going to the footwear tab and under footwear is the footwear gallery.

SPATS:

The model’s legs are little as they are a childs’ that was the only model I had at the time so they look a bit baggy. Spats would usually fit well and go over the tops of shoes.

Footnotes:

*I (Eloisa) love making shoes. I love thinking about shoes. I love designing shoes. I love making patterns for shoes. I really enjoy all aspects of making shoes. I feel there is some passion in me about shoes, smile.

**Michael LOVES shoes and making shoes. He has over 3000 pairs and helps me out a lot! Through him we met another friend who has a passion for shoes, called Melanie. She creates through desire beautiful celestial golden shoes. They live in the Spirit World and what they desire they create instantly. (These beautiful Spirits could inspire me more if I would let them. I look forward to becoming more open and humble in this process and allowing more inspiration from my beautiful friends!)

***I want every pair of shoes I make to be beautiful, individual and a perfect fit for the foot, support the foot and are super duper comfy and lovely to wear! I would also like them to wear well and not ‘die’ prematurely. I would like to make shoes for myself and others and to share the skills I have learnt adding to them as I learn more. (I learn something new with each pair I make so this will be an on-going process).

Check It Out

Continuing the subject of being/staying present Mary has a fabulous post up and is going to do a series on “Operation ‘Get Present'”. I highly recommend taking a look if you are an out of body flyer.

Pete reckons that the amount of air points (if you got them) I would have received for being out of body would have sent us round the world many times over, smile.

Mary is going to do a series on ‘Getting Present’ over the coming months. I reckon it is great to learn from someone who has actually done what she is talking about so I have attached the link for your perusal if you so desire to check it out!

Kentucky Learning Centre, NSW, Australia

Hello!
We have a new blog site that is specifically related to ‘Kyabra Learning Centre, Kentucky NSW’. Our intention is for the new blog site to be our ‘website’. A place you can go and see what we are up too, events that are or will be happening at the learning centre and also a place that will be a resource for projects happening at the Learning Centre and that you can do yourself at home.
This new site is now our ‘official’ site and all information will be updated on it including events etc rather than on this blog site.
This blog ‘Dear God’ will still be in use but will be used for more personal posts and emotional discoveries specific to us rather than what is happening on the Learning Centre. Our emotions impact everything we do, but the intention of the Learning Centre site it to be more instructional with more specific information and ‘how to’ information.
We hope you enjoy the new site, we look forward to seeing you and ‘meeting’ those of you we do not know yet sometime in the future.

Hello and Welcome!

Hello and Welcome to our ‘new’ blog.

Our intention is for this to be our ‘website’. A place you can come and see what we are up too, events that are or will be happening here and also a place that will be a resource for projects happening at the Learning Centre and that you can do yourself at home.

We will document things that we have found useful, fun, interesting, exciting and that work. We will document them over time also. What we do at Kyabra Learning Centre (Kentucky NSW) can be done on large or small scale. We are looking at using what resources we have on hand in a loving, logical and beautiful manner. We have much to learn and some things we have already found work others don’t, and many things get changed as we gain more information, understanding and growth.

We really love experimenting and exploring and discovering new things and new ways of doing things. You can try the experiments we have under way or wait and see how they work out and what modifications we make and then and do them then – it is up to you and what you desire.

There are various static pages you can look at which give information on us, the learning centre itself, projects, past, present, future and dreams, donations, events, photo gallery and so forth.
Feel free to browse at your leisure.

This is now our ‘official’ site and all information will be updated on this including events etc.

Our other blog will still be in use but will be used for more personal posts and emotional discoveries specific to us rather than what is happening on the Learning Centre. Our emotions impact everything we do, but the intention of this site it to be more instructional with more specific information and ‘how to’ information.

Enjoy, we look forward to seeing you and ‘meeting’ those of you we do not know yet sometime in the future.

Reptile Heaven Project – Begun ‘Summerfest 2012’

Susan and Michael had a desire to create a reptile habitat in part of their garden. It was rather interesting because Susan who has had a terror of snakes for most of her life set her intention and desire for a reptile haven and pretty much a day later they literally began moving into the area. A lizard family moved in, then a snake rocked up onto her verandah and various other amphibians were found in the near vicinity.

A lizard family moved in, then a snake rocked up onto her verandah and various other amphibians were found in the near vicinity.
From our personal experiences we feel that as soon as an intention is made that things feel that and begin moving in. I often feel they are drawn to the property and then wonder ‘where are out homes? our food supplies? We felt you wanted us to come here!’ and yet we are not quite ready for them, smile. The power of intention we are finding is amazing and so very powerful!!!
Susan and Michael’s garden is basically on rock with little topsoil and so not much grows. There are a number of purposes for Reptile Heaven. Firstly to create habitat and homes for some of God’s beautiful creatures (not everyone loves reptiles that much and we feel that if we love everything equally then surprising things can happen. We also realised that there is not that much habitat for insects or reptiles on the property so we have begun creating it.)
The area was designed with above ground living systems (as you can’t dig into rock so this was the obvious choice) two ponds, rockeries, pipes, stick/rock piles and piles of matter including wood chip, compost, crates, stones etc. It also has incorporated waterless veggie gardens made for the animals who move in and has reptile mansions, palaces, holes, crevices and various living quarters. As many diverse conditions were created for reptiles as possible, both as an experiment to see what they like and also to create homes for them in all weathers and environmental conditions. The focus was the basic needs, food, shelter, water…
Native legumes, grasses – tussock, lomandra, small wattles have also been planted in the area. These will become ‘self’ mulching. Legume shrubs and bushes were chosen that can be pruned with the intention being that branches are cut from them and laid on the ground to create more top soil. As the soil builds up then larger legume varieties that can be pruned will be planted until large trees can be planted that self mulch the area and create soil and living matter that ends up being self generating for the area.
More grasses and legumes will be planted to link up a neighbouring paddock to create a corridor for reptiles and animals so they do not have to venture over exposed land.
